Our team

Professor Meng received his PhD in statistics from Harvard University, and he is the founding editor-in-chief of the Harvard Data Science Review. His research interests include statistical theory and principles for data science, philosophical and foundational issues in statistics, statistical computing and computational statistics, signal extractions, and uncertainty assessments.

Professor Viel is the director of Northwest Undergraduate Laboratories and senior lecturer in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology at Harvard University. Alain also serves as the UNESCO Chair on Life Sciences and Social Innovation. He received his PhD from Paris 6 University (Pierre et Marie Curie).

Professor Blitzstein received his PhD in mathematics from Stanford University, and has taught Statistics 110: Introduction to Probability at Harvard since 2006. His research interests include inference for network data, foundational issues in statistics and data science, and education.

Gaurav is responsible for managing the full range of activities for LabXchange. Before joining Harvard, Gaurav studied ethics and legal philosophy at Yale University. While there he founded Wireless Philosophy, an organization aimed at introducing people to the practice of philosophy and critical thinking.
